โžก๏ธThatโ€™s important, because itโ€™s highly individual and often culturally different, what we perceive as a threat (later more on that in ER and leadership).


โžก๏ธThe body is biologically made to react to threads.
How? As you know: with the ๐—ณ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜-๐—ณ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜ ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ, which is an ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐˜€๐˜†๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜ƒ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐˜€๐˜†๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—บ. That state usually passes, because the body would take harm, if it stays in it.
How is that happening? With the ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜†๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜ƒ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐˜€๐˜†๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—บ. Clever of nature, isnโ€™t it? That way humans donโ€™t die of a heart attack ๐Ÿ˜ต every time they get threatened.


โžก๏ธWhy is that important to you: ๐—•๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜‚๐˜€๐—ฒ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ฑ๐—ผ ๐—ฎ ๐—น๐—ผ๐˜ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜๐—ต, ๐—ถ๐—ณ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ด๐˜‚๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€! And that happens partly by balancing out the sympathetic activation by bringing in its team member the parasympathetic part of the autonomous nervous system.
