For a long time, I have been carrying around the idea to write about my work as a coach. In my blog I would like to express what challenges me personally and professionally in everyday life. In addition to emotion regulation, I am particularly interested in topics around self-management and mental practice that makes our lives easier.
I chose my profession because I have endless interest in people and their lives. I am originally a medical doctor specialised in psychiatry and psychotherapy. That is my basis. From there, I have increasingly moved into coaching, because I am convinced that life and work or our dedications are closely connected. And that’s where coaching comes in, at the interface between the personal and the work.
I am fascinated by peoples’ worlds and getting to know the basis of their decisions. Of course, I have the same interest in my own life, and so over the years I have explored a vast number of methods and techniques that make life easier. I am particularly interested in the topic of emotion regulation. Just like my clients, I also often struggle with the fact that some situations can trigger a multitude of emotions, which then make strategic and conscious decisions more difficult. And that’s exactly what I want to write about in my blog. On one hand, I write for my existing customers, who can read up on topics here or even find out about new topics, and of course for anyone who can relate to my texts and is interested in the topic.
I am looking forward to this exciting time! If you have any suggestions for topics, please feel free to contact me. I will then try to include them in my blog.
